⦁ Magnescale – linear and rotary encoders for machine tools
Magnescale measuring systems are based on a magneto resistive operating principle, making them insensitive to oil, moisture, vibration, and shock. Thanks to the same thermal expansion coefficient as steel, they are optimally adapted to machine tools.
With SmartSCALE technology, which uses tunnel magneto resistive (TMR) sensors, the systems operate contactless, achieve IP67 protection, and offer resolutions down to 5 nm.
Linear and rotary encoders are available with protocols such as BiSS-C, Siemens Drive-CLiQ, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Yaskawa.

⦁ Laserscale – highest precision measurement
Laserscales offer the highest resolution in the nanometer and picometer range, ensuring outstanding accuracy and stability for advanced measurement and position control.
They are indispensable in semiconductor manufacturing, optical molding, and 1D, 2D, and 3D measurement applications.
Our rotary Laserscale system is considered the world’s most accurate and is based on a specially developed diffraction grating laser interferometer that operates independently of temperature, air pressure, and turbulence. Holographically manufactured scales, along with our interpolation and correction technologies, ensure excellent signal quality, linearity, and precision.

⦁ Digital Gauge – measurement in automation and quality control
Magnescale Digital Gauges are based on a proven magnetic operating principle and stand for the highest reliability and precision. They offer resolutions down to 0.1 µm, accuracies down to 1 µm, and measuring strokes from 5 to 205 mm.
Thanks to an innovative spindle design, they achieve repeatability in the sub-micrometer range and high torsional rigidity. Robust against environmental influences, shocks, and vibrations, and with protection ratings up to IP67, they are ideal for automation and manual workstations.
