| LH51/52/70/71 LG10 Common Questions |
| |
| Printable Version |
| |
| Q: I have found out that my current display is now discontinued. What does this mean? |
A: To be ROHS compliant, many displays are being completely revamped to adhere to the stricter enviromental policies. Because of this, LH51/52 and LG10 are being replaced by LH70/71 Digital Readouts. |
| Q: I currently have a 3 axis LH70/71 display, and the 3rd display is not showing the readout position, but instead if showing a tool number. |
|
A: For a 3 axis, there are two choices. The first choice is that there is a 2 axis "Lathe" display with the 3rd display showing the tool number, and the 3rd axis being an input for an add/subtract scale on a cross slide compound of sorts. The second choise is the display is set as a "General" display. In this setting, each input in the display shows for each axis. This will not show any tool numbers as the axis is not set to show positioning.
These settings are in the "Initial Settings" and set by powering off, holding the setup button, and then scrolling through the settings by selecting enter. Please refer to the instruction manual that came with your display for a broader explanation.
